Danish Film & Media Composers
Danish Film & Media Composers, DFMC, is an association for members of Koda, a non-profit collective rights management society that administers Danish and international copyrights for music creators and publishers, when their music is performed in public.
At the moment we are about 125 members. All are composers writing music for film and for the media.
Our main goal is to increase the focus on film and other cultural manifestations in the Nordic countries and on film music as an art form.
Activities for members
The nature of the film composer’s work often makes it a solitary one. To make up for this the DFMC invites its members to take part in various arrangements offering a chance to discuss diverse topics related to the job.
