AI – hvad taler vi om ?
september 29 @ 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Deltag i et seminar med internationale eksperter.
On the 29th of September, at 15:00 CEST, STEF (The Composer’s Rights Society of Iceland), together with other Icelandic authors’ organizations, in alliance with Bifröst University and the Icelandic University of the Arts, will hold a conference on Artificial Intelligence and Copyright, under the moniker “Time Flies in the Age of AI”, which is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek reference to the song title of Iceland’s initial entry to the Eurovision Song contest in 1986.
The first part will take place in English, comprising of three intriguing lectures.
- The first will be given by Dr. Andres Guadamuz, a prominent lecturer on Intellectual Property Law at the University of Sussex and chief editor for the Journal of World Intellectual Property.
- The second address will be delivered by David Kavanagh, executive officer for FSE (Federation of Screenwriters in Europe).
- Burak Özgen, General Counsel at GESAC (European Grouping of Societies of Authors and Composers) will carry out the final oration.
Iceland’s Minister of Culture and Business Affairs, Lilja Alfreðdsdóttir, will open the conference. The event will be streamed free of charge to all who are interested. Streaming will be available through STEF’s Facebook page.
Vi vil senere arrangere en åben samtale modereret af en af de danske komponister, der ved mest om emnet: Troels Abrahamsen.
